Yes, says Pam Grossman, author of "Waking the Witch" and self-described witch. "The witch is a notorious shape-shifter, and she comes in many guises," she writes.
I don’t know about you, but I’m finding right now to be a deeply challenging time in which to live. As someone who is passionate about expanding social justice, equality, and equity for all, it sure feels like every attempt to make the world a better place is being flagrantly, callously, and sometimes even gleefully thwarted by those in power, at least daily.
This post started as notes in preparation for a talk I was planning for the seers group in my tradition. I decided to share it with some modifications to make it more broadly applicable. The following points are offered to encourage mindfulness and dialogue regarding the ethics and best practices for divination, oracular work, and allied disciplines. They do not cover all possible situations and differences in applications or doctrines, so change and adapt what is here to match your needs. I think that it is important for your sake and the sake of those lives that you touch to be clear on your ethical guidelines if you offer readings or oracular sessions of any kind. If you do not agree with any or all of these suggestions, I hope you will work to create your own or consider these a template that you can adjust.

She tells the true stories that fall into her head and heart, and sings of life, death and rebirth. She sings of holding on and letting go. She speaks to the Gods and Goddesses and they speak back. Oh, boy, do they speak back! She sings of her spiritual connection to the natural world, and of our responsibility to nurture both the mundane and the magical. This is an immersive experience in the Hermetic Tree of Life taught with Pagan sensibilities. There will be workshops, pathworkings, a ritual, and evening discussions. The teachers will be initiates of the Assembly of the Sacred Wheel.
The ritual involves walking the Lightening Flash from Malkuth to Kether with the experience of a mini-ritual within each Sphere. The glyph of the Tree is laid out in 9 foot circles connected by paths covering a large field. Climbing The Tree is an incredible experience to plant the tree deep with yourself. Bring ritual garb if you have it. There can be roughly 10-15 people in the ritual per run. During the rituals we will be running Qabala pathworkings and workshops.
To be clear, you will get to experience the ritual at least once. When you are not in the ritual you have access to various classes and pathworkings about the Hermetic Tree of Life. Also, you do not have to attend the entire event but we encourage you to attend as much as your schedule permits.
Cost: $65 by July 1, 2014 $75 until registration closes on September 1, 2019 45 participant limit

Please bring a tarot deck to class (preferably Coleman/Waite a.k.a Rider-Waite) or a deck that you have been using for a while.

HUNT VALLEY, Md. – The 2019 Sacred Space Conference opened at the Hunt Valley Inn on March 21, 2019. “Sacred Space is an annual Pagan and magical conference on the East Coast that is specifically for intermediate and advanced practitioners,” said Gwendolyn Reece, board member, and president of the Sacred Space Foundation. “We consider ourselves to be a part of the emerging infrastructure for Pagans and magical practitioners of all traditions.”
...
In 2020, the Sacred Space Foundation will be partnering with the Delaware-based Assembly of the Sacred Wheel to offer a combined conference. “Between the Worlds is an event, hosted by the Assembly of the Sacred Wheel, that functions as a fundraiser for the New Alexandrian Library, and is held at certain astrological times to magically address certain needs,” said Reece. “The intended audience is intermediate to advanced practitioners and it is in the same region [as Sacred Space].”
This year"s event will be held in Clark Park B (4301 Chester Ave Philadelphia, PA). As always, this is a rain or shine event, so pay attention to the weather and prepare accordingly!
Vendor and Workshop Applications are all live and ready to go. Submit your vendor and workshop applications by no later than July 15th if you want them listed in the event program. Any applications submitted after that may get cleared for the event but not necessarily make the cut for the printing of the program book.

Certainly Christianity has built its own theological tradition based on Christian foundational assumptions. That does not mean modern polytheists should consider the field off limits to us. Quite the contrary: if our religions are to grow and thrive, they need a strong theological component. But so far we haven’t produced much in the way of theology.
This needs to change. There have been a few works of Pagan and polytheist theology, but not many, and fewer still that are accessible to ordinary readers.
As of January we have another: Ascendant: Modern Essays on Polytheism and Theology, edited by Michael Hardy and published by Bibliotheca Alexandrina. It’s a collection of short essays by modern polytheists, some well-known and others not. They vary in length and emphasis, but they’re all thought-provoking. And at this point in the polytheist restoration, thought-provoking is what we need most.
We seek information and guidance and the gifts surround us in nature, the turning fo the seasons and all of life"s journey...
Program Teaser: Life Cycle and Nature in the Runes-Presented by Kitty Bronson, a Witch, a Freyja"s woman and daughter of Njordhr.....The Elder Futhark is split into 3 “aetts”. We will explore these 3 aetts and the relationships between the runes on a broader level. The runes are not just an alphabet with random meanings but there is a pattern and a reason for the order. A background in the runes may be helpful but is not necessary.
Pre-registration is encouraged to insure your space...
Between The Worlds is an interfaith esoteric conference that occurs when the stars indicate that such a gathering is needed and favored. This conference is known for the high quality of its workshops, rituals, and collegial atmosphere. It is sponsored by the Assembly of the Sacred Wheel and was previously held in 1996, 2000, 2004, 2007, 2012, and 2015. The conference in 2015 was a joint event with the Sacred Space Foundation. The first six BTW conferences had a connecting theme about consciously working with the change of the Ages, the Aeons. The BTW in 2020 is about working to build the world that we wish to live in regardless of the challenges. This work is personal, collective, and transpersonal.

The primary source of heat in our home is our wood stove, and is an important part of my spiritual practice during the cold months of the year. This winter about half of the wood that we are using comes from our land and the rest has been purchased from someone in our county. The fuel we use is local and from the soil of our bioregion. I have a good sense of how long it took for the trees to grow, and the weather and water that fed their growth. Relying upon the wood stove focuses my awareness, gratitude, and mindfulness in many ways. We do have a modern heating system as a backup plan, but its biggest purpose is to keep the house warm when we are all away on a trip.
Death is a journey we all must take, and the grace we offer to ourselves and to our loved ones in their process requires courage and planning. Come join our own Maggie Beaumont as she guides us through...
Dying in America-Navigating the Rapids: These days, the dying process isn’t much like what we think we know from TV, movies, family stories and social media. At a time of emotional turmoil, people are being asked to make crucial decisions based on information in unfamiliar language. What do you need to know? How does the dying process work in American hospitals today? What are the biases in the system, and how can you navigate through them to make decisions that serve you and your family well? We’ll talk about what an Advance Directive is and is not, and how to choose a Health-Care Proxy, and we’ll talk about how to make sure your wishes – or your loved one’s wishes – are actually followed. We’ll talk about questions you’ll need to ask, including a few that are surprising. We’ll also talk about supporting one another through the emotions that arise, now or later, in confronting this challenging topic.

When I think of “genius” in terms of occultism, Ivo Dominguez Jr. is usually the very first to come into my mind. Part researcher, part mad scientist and complete magickal genius, Ivo is consistently providing information and techniques that push boundaries in terms of innovation within witchcraft, occultism, and psychic development. He and his work are greatly admired by his peers, students, and readers within the occult community for these reasons. Casting Sacred Space: The Core of All Magickal Work is absolutely no exception. The book contains a foreword from T. Thorn Coyle and received high praise from Dolores Ashcroft-Nowicki, Janet Farrar, Jason Miller, M. Macha Nightmare, Sam Webster, and many more — and for good reason.
